We couldn’t decide on just one this month, so we are bring you two success stories of two amazing Renegade women!
- What brought you to Renegade in the first place?
I started with a goal to fit into a dress I had picked out for my sons wedding. My daughter suggested that I try a gym instead of trying things on my own. I met that goal, but found out along the way that this is what I had been missing in trying to become a healthier version of me. I have learned so much since I started my semi private classes and can do things that I never thought I would be able to do.
- What is your favorite thing about Renegade Fitness and what kind of success have you had so far?
Kudos to Chuck, Jen and Chris for the patience (a lot of patience), encouragement and challenges that they provide every week. (Even-though I might not seem enthusiastic about them!).
I also tried the Kick Start program and was able to loose inches and lbs. The holidays and a vacation were tough to negotiate but I have avoided the winter weight gain this year and look forward to being able to move closer to my weight goal this spring. I have since set new goals (weight loss and increased strength) and know that they can be achieved with the tools I have been given!
- What brought you to Renegade Fitness in the first place?
My mom has been a renegade member for about a year longer than I have and I really saw how much progress she was making, the recipes she was making at home, and always going to workout. She would encourage me to try measuring out my meals and I would think she is crazy; however, one day I literally woke up and decided to go into RF and sign up for the spring KickStart program in 2018 and that same day I signed up for a year membership….talk about all or nothing. I could see the change in my mom and dad and knew that I could do it too, just needed the mindset.
- What are your goals?
My goals over the past year are simply to not give up on myself. I have tried many “diets” and gyms and nothing has ever seemed to work for me. RF has been my true happy place and a time for me. I am a happier person when I am doing balanced habits and working out. Sure, every women wants it to be about the number on the scale and the tag size on their clothes, I so badly want to be that perfect number, but right now it’s all about not giving up on myself.
- What kind of success have you had?
I couldn’t be where I am today on this fitness and nutrition journey without Coaches Jen, Chris, Chuck, Ashley, and Amy, thank you!. One success is that I believe in myself because I am doing workouts that I thought I would never be able to do: go up a flight of stairs without getting out of breath, and learn how to eat the foods I love while balancing, looking at labels, and tracking. This journey is still going.
- What is your favorite thing about Renegade Fitness?
I love everything, the coaches genuinely care about every move their clients make on the workout floor, the music they listen to, and if they are having a good or bad day. I can walk in and everyone who is coming out of the previous session says hi or smile, and I don’t even know their names.
