We would like to warmly welcome Rachel Ritson to the RF Coaching Team! Rachel is a long-time RF member who we have felt for awhile now would be perfect in regards to this role. We are excited to have her start and are thankful for sharing a bit of her story below!
I believe that I am a self-driven and very motivated person. I like to think that I am a hard worker, dedicated and passionate about what I really want and believe in. I am a huge family person. I am competitive. I love to travel. I love working out! I’m addicted to coffee. Chocolate is my favorite. According to my husband when I asked him to help me answer this question, he said… fun, spontaneous, adventurous, spunky!
Over the years I have learned that what works for one person may not work for another– you have to find what works for YOU! Fitness and nutrition is a journey. It’s not something that can be perfect. It’s not something that can be changed over night. It takes time, commitment and a good BALANCE! It took me a long time to realize that. Before, I wanted results and I wanted them NOW! I feel like it is so important to not always compare yourself to others and find that balance that just truly works for you.
I love to learn! My family has always asked if I would ever start a career or if I would be going to school forever. I like to see myself as that forever student… and yes, I plan to go back again to further my education beyond my Masters in Nursing! So this somewhat carries over into goals that I have with coaching. I am a believer that there is always opportunity to learn and better yourself. I want to take every opportunity to learn more about coaching, fitness, nutrition… because you can never know too much! The more I know, the more I can help others, and that’s what I ultimately want to do!
